Working Bee – Track Preparation Day

We are getting the track prepared and ready for the season ahead — and we are calling on all members to get involved in our upcoming Working Bee.

The Working Bee will take place on Sunday, 12 April at our club track in West Melton. This is an important day in the lead-up to teh year, as it gives us the opportunity to ensure the track is in top condition for racing.

We will be onsite from the morning onwards, and members are welcome to come down at any time that suits. Whether you can spare an hour or stay for most of the day, every bit of help contributes to getting the job done efficiently.

The focus of the day will be general track preparation and maintenance. This may include repairing sections of the track, tidying up key areas, improving race lines, and making sure everything is safe and ready for competition. A well-prepared track not only improves racing quality but also enhances safety and enjoyment for all competitors.

Beyond the practical side, the Working Bee is also a valuable chance to connect with other club members. It is a relaxed environment where you can catch up, share ideas, and be part of the behind-the-scenes effort that makes race days possible. Strong member involvement is what keeps the club running effectively and ensures we continue to deliver quality events throughout the season.

We encourage everyone attending to bring along any useful tools or equipment, along with a positive attitude and willingness to help. The more people involved, the quicker and more effectively we can complete the work.

This is a key step in setting the standard for the season ahead. We appreciate the support from all members and look forward to seeing a strong turnout as we prepare the track for the first championship event.
