CT Civil New Zealand National Finals
Get ready for a huge weekend of off-road racing as the Canterbury Off Road Club hosts the ORANZ CT Civil New Zealand National Finals at the Canterbury Off Road Raceway in West Melton from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026. Competitors from across New Zealand will come together in Canterbury for the conclusion of the 2026 National Championship, with two very different forms of racing deciding the final results.
Saturday 24 October is all about Short Course racing. Racing gets underway at 10:00am, with each class contesting four heats around our purpose-built off-road raceway. Fast racing, close competition and National Finals honours will all be on the line, while every lap will also count towards Sunday, with the fastest Short Course lap determining Enduro qualifying.
On Sunday 25 October, the focus turns to endurance as competitors take on the 250km Enduro. Starting from the Canterbury Off Road Raceway before heading into the surrounding forest course, the Enduro will test speed, reliability, strategy and endurance as competitors fight their way through 250 kilometres of off-road racing.
Our younger racers also get their chance to compete, with the Kids Enduro starting at 9:30am on Sunday before the main Enduro gets underway at 10:30am.
The weekend concludes with the National Finals Prizegiving at McCleans Island Golf Club on Sunday evening.

Spectator entry: FREE
Spectators can watch Sunday’s Enduro action from the designated Short Course viewing areas at the Canterbury Off Road Raceway. There is no spectator access to the forest sections of the Enduro course.
Food and hot drinks will be available for purchase on both race days. EFTPOS is available, although cash is preferred due to intermittent cell phone service. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the pits or public viewing areas for the duration of the event.
